The desk bears the name Tulipano because the ends of the table top made of moulded beech wood are curved, similar to the petals of a tulip. The metal discs inserted in the top are threaded. This allows the table legs to be unscrewed for transport and stowed away on the underside of the table top to save space. The legs are placed in the recesses provided and secured with straps. The coloured elements lend the table a sense of lightness and create a playful look.
